Turning your Wi-Fi on and off
Stay connected. Follow this guide to scan for available networks and securely join your home Wi-Fi.
1.
From the Settings screen, tap Connections.
Using Wi-Fi can deplete your battery power faster than a Verizon Wireless network connection.

Tap Wi-Fi.
If you already have a Wi-Fi connection set up, just tap the Wi-Fi icon to turn Wi-Fi on and off.

Tap or slide the Wi-Fi switch to ON.

Select a network to join.
Wi-Fi hotspots may have security limitations, requiring a password. If necessary, enter the network password.

Enter your Password and tap Connect.

Tap the Settings cog icon.

From this screen, you can perform a variety of actions to manage your Wi-Fi connection:
- Forget this Network - Select this option to remove the network from your device. You can re-add it later, but will need to enter its security information again.
- Private Wi-Fi Address - Reduce tracking from other devices on this Wi-Fi network by enabling a Fixed or Rotating Wi-Fi address.
- Auto-Join - When this option is enabled, your iPhone will always try to connect to this network when it's in range.
