Managing the battery
Learn how to manage the battery on your device. Taking care of your battery will extend your battery life.
1.
From the Home screen, drag down the Notification panel.

Tap the Settings icon.
3.
Tap Device maintenance.
4.
Tap Battery.
5.
Tap BATTERY USAGE.
From this screen, you can view details about how your battery power is being used.
6.
Select an app to view more information.
7.
Tap the Back button.
8.
Tap the Menu icon.
9.
Tap Optimize battery usage.
From this screen, you can view details about which apps have optimized battery usage.
10.
Tap the Back button.
11.
Tap the Back button again.
12.
Tap MID.
Power saving mode saves battery power by limiting access to certain apps, including the flashlight.
13.
Tap APPLY.
14.
You've completed the steps!
