Resetting your Apple ID password
Follow along to learn how you can reset your password if you have forgotten it.

From your Apple ID sign in screen, tap Don't have an Apple ID or forgot it?.
2.
Tap Forgot Apple ID?.
3.
Enter your Apple ID.
4.
Tap Next.
If you've activated two-factor authentication, you may be prompted to enter your trusted phone numer.

Tap Answer Security Questions.
For this tutorial, we're showing how to reset your password using security questions. You can also reset your password using your email, but steps may vary based on what you choose.

Select your date of birth.
7.
Tap Next.
8.
Tap the Answer field.
9.
Enter the response to your first security question.
10.
Tap Next.
11.
Tap the Answer field.
12.
Enter the response to your second security question.
13.
Tap Next.
14.
Enter your new password.
15.
Tap the return key.
16.
Confirm your new password.
17.
Tap Next.
18.
You've completed the steps!
