Sending a Next-Gen Message to a group
With Next-Gen Messaging, you can see when people in a group have read your messages. All members of the group need to have Next-Gen Messaging enabled in order for this functionality to work.
1.
From a composed message, tap the Add recepients icon.

Scroll to a contact you'd like to add.
3.
Select the contact.
To send a Next-Gen Message to a group, all members must have chat features enabled. Otherwise, your chat will be converted into standard MMS.

Enter a contact name.
5.
Select the contact.
If necessary, select which of the contact's numbers you'd like to send the message to.
,Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more recipients to the group text message.
6.
Tap Done.
7.
When you're finished, tap the Send icon.
8.
You've completed the steps!
