Managing the battery
Learn how to manage the battery on your device. Taking care of your battery will extend your battery life.
1.
From the Settings app, tap Battery.

Tap Battery usage.
From this screen, you can view details about how your battery power is being used.

Select an app to view more information.
4.
Swipe from the left or right edge of the screen.
5.
Swipe from the left or right edge of the screen again.
6.
Tap Adaptive preferences.
7.
Tap or slide the Adaptive Battery switch to ON.
Adaptive Battery saves battery power by restricting background activity.
8.
Tap or slide the Adaptive charging switch to ON.
Adaptive charging preserves long-term battery life by charging steadily.
