How to charge your battery.

Use the original charger and battery to maintain optimal battery performance over the life of your device. The power adapter and USB cable that you use with your mobile hotspot must meet certain standards to provide sufficient power for device charging and Plugged-In Mode. Depending on the region where you purchased your hotspot, it includes a Quick Charge 2.0-certified or Quick Charge 3.0-certified power adapter and a USB 3.2 Type-A to Type-C cable. NETGEAR cannot guarantee the performance of specific third-party power adapters or USB cables with your hotspot. However, high quality third-party power adapters and USB cables that meet the following standards should provide similar performance to the included parts:

• Quick Charge 2.0 power adapter with USB 3.2 Type-A to Type-C cable
• Quick Charge 3.0 power adapter with USB 3.2 Type-A to Type-C cable
• Quick Charge 4.0 power adapter with USB 3.2 Type-C cable
• USB Power Delivery 3.0 power adapter with USB 3.2 Type-C cable

Note: The device takes up to 240 minutes to charge through a power outlet. A full charge provides up to 10 hour of use time, or up to 10 days of standby time.

Charge device via power outlet

1. Insert the USB-C end of the cable into the port of the device.

2. Insert the opposite end of the cable into the port of the A/C adapter.

3. Plug the A/C adapter into the wall outlet.

Charge device via a laptop

To use your laptop to charge the device, insert the opposite end of the cable into the USB port of a computer.

Note: The NETGEAR Nighthawk M7 Pro charges quicker using a power outlet than when connected to a laptop or other power source.
