Access keyboard settings

When the keyboard is visible, swipe up from the bottom of the screen then select the Settings icon. Keyboard settings allow you to change languages, keyboard height and layout, and adjust smart typing features.

 

Note: To access keyboard settings outside of the keyboard screen, swipe up from the bottom of the clock screen to access the Apps tray, then scroll to and select the settings app Settings app > General > Input > Samsung Keyboard.

Use Auto-complete suggestions

After typing a word, suggestions will appear at the top of the keyboard. Select the desired suggestion to enter it into the text field.

Access emojis, speech-to-text, capitalize text & symbols

When the keyboard is visible, swipe up from the bottom of the screen then select the desired option:

• SPEECH-TO-TEXT: Select the Microphone icon.

• EMOJIS: Select the Emoji icon. 

• SYMBOLS: Select the Symbols icon.
