App management

AT&T amiGO™ app App Management allows you as the parent to decide which apps your child has access to on their device. Once the app is approved, time limits are the only amiGO parental control available. We recommend that if you want to use Google Services for your child, you create a NEW adult (13+)google account for yourself on this phone that you will use to manage your childs access to apps and services.

Add or remove app

1. From the AT&T amiGO™ app, select the alarm app Menu icon then select Parent controls.

2. With the desired device highlighted, select App Management. Select the switch next to the app you wish to add or remove from the AT&T amiGO™ phone.

Note: For apps that are not preloaded on the AT&T amiGO™ phone, the parent will need to enable Google Play and the Settings App on your child’s phone. Select the grey circle on the top right > select switch account > add another account and login with your new google account > Switch Account > select your new google account. The child will be able to search for apps, and install apps on the AT&T amiGO™ phone, however they will not be able to access those apps until the parent has approved them via the amiGO App on the parent’s device. After you have set up Google Play, it is recommended to disable the Settings App on the child’s phone.
