1. From the Start screen, tap People.
   
2. Scroll to, then touch and hold the desired contact.
   
3. Tap pin to start.
   
4. The contact will now appear on the Start screen.
   
5. Tap the speed dial contact.
   
6. Tap the phone number you wish to call.
   
7. The contact will be dialed.
   
8. To remove, touch and hold the contact tile.
   
9. Tap the Unpin icon.
