Bluetooth

Turn Bluetooth on or off, scan and connect to other Bluetooth devices, and unpair a connected device.

  1. Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows your phone to communicate with other Bluetooth enabled devices within 5-10 feet of each other. Bluetooth is often used for wireless headsets or to transfer media between devices. To optimize battery life, turn Bluetooth off when not in use.

  2. From the home screen, press the Menu key.

  3. Tap System settings.

  4. Tap Bluetooth.

  5. Tap the Bluetooth switch to enable Bluetooth.
    Note: To optimize battery life, turn Bluetooth off when not in use.

  6. When Bluetooth is enabled, the Bluetooth Enabled icon will display in the notifications bar.

  7. Tap the desired device to pair.

  8. Tap Yes.

  9. When Bluetooth is paired, the Bluetooth paired icon will display in the notification bar.

  10. To quickly enable or disable Bluetooth, tap Bluetooth from the notifications menu.
