1. From the Home screen, tap the Apps icon.
   
2. Tap Contacts.
   
3. From the contacts screen, scroll to, then tap the desired contact.
   
4. Tap the Star icon to add the contact to the Favorites list.
   
5. Tap the Back icon to return to the previous screen.
   
6. To speed dial, tap the Favorites icon.
   
7. Tap the desired contact.
   
8. Tap the contact's phone number to speed dial.
