1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap About.
   
4. Firmware version will be listed under Android version.
   
5. To update, tap AT&T Software Update.
   
6. Tap Check for Updates.
   
7. If an update is available, follow the prompts to install. Otherwise, tap OK.
