  1. From the home screen, select Menu.

  4. Select Wi-Fi.
    Note: To optimize battery life, turn Wi-Fi off when not in use.

  5. When Wi-Fi is on, the Wi-Fi icon will display in the Notification bar.

  6. Select desired network.
    Note: Select Options (Left softkey) and then select Add network to connect to a hidden or unbroadcasted Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter the network SSID, security type, and a password (if necessary) to continue.

  7. Then select Connect to network.

  8. If connecting to a secure network, enter the Wi-Fi network password then select Save.
    Note: Secure networks will display with a Lock icon. Data transmitted over a Wi-Fi network does not count toward your AT&T data plan, and will not be billed. When using the AT&T network, data rates apply.

  9. To remove a saved Wi-Fi network, from the Wi-Fi menu, select Options > Save networks > select desired network.

  10. Select Forget, then select Yes.

  11. To turn Wi-Fi off, from the Wi-Fi menu, tap Turn off.
