You can create a personal or group voicemail greeting. A personal greeting is what callers hear when they call your phone number and access your individual voicemail box. It can be up to three minutes long. A group greeting is for the general mailbox associated with a phone number.
Record a Greeting
From your business phone, press *98. Or, from any phone, call your business phone number, and then press * to skip the voicemail greeting.
Enter your mailbox PIN.
For mailbox settings, press 4.
For greetings, press 3.
Do one of the following, and then follow the prompts:
To record a personal greeting, press 1.
To record an extended absence greeting, press 2.
To record a name or system greeting, press 3.
To record a group greeting, press 4.
When you're finished recording, do one of the following:
To save the greeting, press 1.
To record the greeting again, press 2.
To cancel the greeting and exit the Greeting Setup Wizard, press 3.
