The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefit can help pay for AT&T Internet plansThe ACP is a federal government program that can help eligible customers pay for their home internet service. Through the ACP, eligible customers can reduce their AT&T Internet bill by up to $30 per month*, or up to $75 per month if they live on qualified Tribal Lands.

How AT&T Internet customers can qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)The federal government’s National Verifier determines who is eligible for the program, but you may qualify if any of the following apply to you:
• Your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
• You participate in a qualifying federal assistance program.
• At least one person in the household is in the free and reduced-price lunch program or the school breakfast program (including the Community Eligibility Provision).
• At least one person in the household has received a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year.
• At least one person in the household can participate in their broadband provider's existing low-income program.

- What is the ACP?The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program created as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Among other things, this program can help qualified households pay for connectivity services such as wireless and internet plans. The program extends and modifies the more temporary Emergency Broadband Benefit.
- What services does the Affordable Connectivity Program cover?The ACP can help qualified households pay for connectivity services such as internet and wireless plans with data. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly benefit per household.
- How do I know if I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program?A household is eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program if the household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:
• Participates in one of these assistance programs:
• Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, including at U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Community Eligibility Provision schools
• Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
• Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

- How do I apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program benefit?
The easiest way to apply is to go to affordableconnectivity.gov. AT&T does not determine eligibility. To help speed up your enrollment, be sure to save your Application ID from the federal government’s National Verifier. Once you are approved, call AT&T at 866.595.0604 to enroll with your National Verifier application ID. If you are already approved for Lifeline, there is no need to re-apply for ACP. You’re automatically eligible. Let us know you already have Lifeline, we’ll verify it and apply your ACP benefit.
The ACP benefit will appear on the next billing cycle after the benefit is applied to the customer’s AT&T account.
- For purposes of applying for the Affordable Connectivity Program, how is “household” defined?"Household" is defined as any individual or group of individuals who live together at the same address as one economic unit. An "economic unit" is defined as "all adult individuals contributing to and sharing in the income and expenses of a household." You can read more about how household is defined and examples here.
- Can I apply for multiple ACP discounts?Each eligible household may only apply the monthly ACP benefit to one service at a time. For example, if you are already receiving assistance for your wireless service, you cannot receive ACP assistance for your internet plan too. However, eligible customers can still receive Access from AT&T even if they choose to apply their ACP benefit to their wireless service by applying with AT&T for the Access from AT&T program.
- Can I apply the Affordable Connectivity Discount towards my bundled services?The Affordable Connectivity Program can be applied to the cost of a bundle of services that includes internet or wireless service with data. If your bundle also includes a video service, you will be responsible for that portion of your bill, as well as any charges that are more than the monthly benefit.
- How is the ACP different from the EBB?The EBB was an emergency program created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other things, the ACP is a replacement and extension of the EBB program. The ACP changes the amount of assistance from $50 per month to $30 per month for participants who do not live on tribal lands. Participants on qualified tribal land will still receive $75 per month in the new version of the program. For a more complete list of program changes and updates, visit the official FCC website.
- What if someone else in my household is already receiving an Affordable Connectivity Program benefit?Each household can only receive one monthly Affordable Connectivity Program benefit at a time.
- How long will the Affordable Connectivity Program last?As of now, the FCC has no set expiration date for the program.
