This is the first page you will see every time you log in to HIPCS.

When you log in to HIPCS, this page displays system alerts and news items.

You can view your most recent missed calls. To call people back immediately, select Dial next to the Contact's telephone number.

A light bulb icon appears next to "My Messages" when you have a new message.

To find specific Contacts, enter information into one or more of the Search Contacts fields, then select Search. Users can use partial or wildcard entries for a search.

Key pointTip: Select a section heading, such as "Missed Calls" or "Call Forwarding" to link directly to that page within HIPCS.

To make a phone call right from this screen, enter the phone number you are calling, select a billing code (if applicable), and select Dial.

Quick Tasks lets you link directly to the most common features of HIPCS.

Highlights

Highlight 1

You can change the phone number you dial when returning someone's call by selecting a different number from the pull-down menu in the Missed Call log.

Highlight 2

Advanced Search gives you additional criteria to use when searching, such as Company Name and phone extension.

Highlight 3

Billing Codes can be either mandatory or optional, depending on how your Office Administrator has configured HIPCS. If you have questions about billing codes, ask your Office Administrator.
