Fix common Wi-Fi extender issues
Solid red light Seeing a solid red light? This means that your Wi-Fi extender probably has a bad connection or is too far from your gateway. Just move the extender closer to your gateway to get a stronger signal.
Blinking green lights Lights blinking green? Your Wi-Fi extender probably hasn’t synced with your gateway. To get it to sync:
Place your extender close to your Wi-Fi gateway.
Press the WPS button on the front of the gateway, then press the WPS button on the extender. The 5GHz and 2.4GHz lights will blink and then turn solid green when they successfully pair.
