Reasons for not receiving your AT&T registration code

Find out why you did not receive your Online Registration Code.

Check the following

If you requested to receive your Online Registration Code by email or phone, and you did not receive it within the indicated time you may want to check the following:

Check the email address

Is the email address shown on the confirmation screen your address, or one you can access? AT&T can email the Online Registration Code only if the email address has been on file for at least 30 days.

Check the phone number

Do you expect the call to go to the phone number shown on the confirmation screen? If you are not able to answer the call, AT&T will attempt to leave a message on a voicemail or answering machine.

Can the listed phone number receive phone calls?

Make sure that the phone number shown on the confirmation screen is a number which can receive phone calls. If the number is not a working number, or you do not have phone service through AT&T, you will not be able to receive your Online Registration Code over the phone. You must choose another option.

If there is a fax line attached to the phone, you will need to replace it with a conventional phone to receive your Online Registration Code.
