Recording and Transcribing a Phone Call
From an ongoing phone call, tap the Call Record icon.
After tapping the icon, it will notify the other person that you are recording
Tap the Stop icon when finished recording your phone call.
After a recording is completed, a transcript will be generated and saved in the Notes app. You can also end the call to stop the recording.
Tap the notification shown when the recording is complete to view the transcript in the Notes app.
You can also navigate to the Notes app from to view your recording.
Tap the note labeled Call Recording.
This is where you can view all your recorded calls, organized by date and time.
Select the Call recording.
Tap Summary.
The iPhone 15 Pro and newer devices are the only devices that can use the AI summarize feature on these transcriptions in the notes app. You can listen to the phone call recording and view the transcript here.
