Make and conference a second call
  1. Place or receive a call.
  2. Select Add Participant (to select, press the trackpad or tap the screen).
      
      
  3. 'The "New Call" screen will be displayed.  There are three options to place a second call:
    • From the Dial Pad
      1. Type a phone number manually, then press the Send/Phone key.
                 
         
    • From the Call Log
      1. To make a call to a recently dialed number, scroll to the desired contact or number, then press the Send/Phone key.
              
          
    • From Contacts
      1. To make a call to a contact saved on the device, type the first letter(s) of the contact, then scroll to the desired contact.  Press the Send/Phone key.
            
          
  4. The second call will now connect and the first call will be placed "On Hold".
           
      
  5. Select Join.
       
      
  6. "Conference" will be displayed when the calls are joined.
    NOTE: To add additional members to the conference call, repeat steps 2 through 7.
         
Extract a call
  1. While on a conference call press the Menu key, then select Split Call.
       
      
  2. Scroll to and select the call to be extracted.
      
      
  3. The selected call will remain "Connected" and active, all other calls will be left "On Hold".
      
Drop a call off
  1. Press the Menu key, then select Drop Call.
      
      
  2. Scroll to and select the call to be dropped.
     
Activate or Deactivate Call Waiting
  1. From the Home screen, press the Send/Phone key.
  2. Press the Menu key, then scroll to and select Options.
       
         
  3. Scroll to and select Call Waiting.
       
     
  4. In the "Call Waiting Enabled" field, select the desired option:
      
    • Checked: Enable call waiting.
    • Unchecked: Disable call waiting.
       
  5. Press the Menu key, then select Save
