Access AT&T Navigator with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810

AT&T Navigator is the only GPS product supported by AT&T. All other GPS products are supported by each product's vendor, including RIM BlackBerry Maps.

1. On the home screen, open the All tray, and then select AT&T Maps + Nav.
    
     
2. The Terms and Conditions will be displayed, select I agree to continue.
     
     
3. Select Download.
      
     
4. The Applications Permissions screen will be displayed, select Yes to continue.
     
     
5. "The application was successfully installed." will be displayed, select Run.
      
    
6. The Applications Permissions screen will be displayed, select Yes to continue.
      
     
7. The AT&T Navigator Welcome screen will be displayed, select Continue.
      
     
8. The Application Permissions Request screen will be displayed, select Save.
       
      
9. The AT&T Navigator Terms of Service will be displayed.  Scroll to and select the desired option:
     
• Accept: Accept the terms and services and continue setup.
• Exit: Decline the terms and services and cancel setup.
    
10. The Set Up Side Key screen will be displayed.  Scroll to and select the desired option:
        
     
• Yes: Configure the Convenience key for voice commands.
1. The instructions for setting up the convenience key will be displayed.  Please follow the onscreen instructions, and then select OK, I'm done.
      
     
2. Press the Convenience key configured in the previous step.
      
     
3. A confirmation message will be displayed, select OK.
      
     
• No: Select this option to skip the convenience key setup
     
    
11. AT&T Navigator will download additional files.
       
      
12. The AT&T Navigator home screen will be displayed.  Scroll to and select the desired option:
      
• Drive To: Get driving directions
• Search: Get addresses and phone numbers of businesses
• Maps & Traffic: Displays the map and traffic information of the current location
• Local Apps: View movie times, weather, or configure commute alerts 

If unable to download or log into AT&T Navigator, troubleshoot accordingly

1. Verify the device can connect to the Internet by entering a URL in your Browser and accessing a web page.
2. If unable to log in, reset the AT&T Navigator PIN.
3. Soft reset the device by removing and re-inserting the battery.
4. Using the instructions above, attempt to install and log into AT&T Navigator.
