Connect to a Hotspot or Open Wi-Fi Network
- On the home screen, select the Connections area.
- Select Wi-Fi Network.
NOTE: Enable Wi-Fi if not already enabled.
will display when Wi-Fi is enabled but not connected to a network.
- The device will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Scroll to and select the desired Wi-Fi network to connect.
NOTE: NOTE: By default, when a new Wi-Fi profile is created it will appear at the bottom of the Wi-Fi profile list.
- If the network is an "Open" network or an "AT&T Hotspot", the device will connect to the selected Wi-Fi network.

NOTE: When connected a checkmark will be displayed next to the connected Wi-Fi network and the network name will be displayed on the home screen.
- Some Wi-Fi networks may require authentication, enter the passphrase, and then select Connect.

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network or Connect using Wi-Fi Protected Setup
- On the home screen, select the Connections area.
- Select Wi-Fi Network.
- Select Other ways to connect.
- Scroll to and select the desired option:
- Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS): Use this method to connect to a Wi-Fi network without having to enter a password. A compatible router or wireless access point is required for Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS). Scroll to and select the desired setup method:
- Press button on router
- Press the Wi-Fi Protected Setup button on the router.
NOTE: Please contact the manufacturer of the Wi-Fi access point/wireless router for assistance.
- On the device, select Start.
- "Searching..." will be displayed. The device will search and configure the Wi-Fi connection.
- Enter PIN into router
- The device will search for available Wi-Fi networks and generate a PIN.
- On the administration screen of the router or access point, enter the PIN.
- Manually Connect to Network: Use this method to manually enter the Wi-Fi network credentials.

- Enter the SSID, and then select Next.
- Select the desired Security Type.
- Enter the key, and then select Save and Connect. The device will connect to the desired Wi-Fi network.
If unable to configure a Wi-Fi network connection profile
- Verify Wi-Fi network status.
- If unable to detect connection information, perform a Site Survey to determine the connection information by selecting Manage Connections > Set Up Wi-Fi Network > Menu key > Troubleshoot > Site Survey > Menu key > Start Scan > Menu key > Access Point Details.
- If unable to configure a network connection profile, please escalate accordingly for assistance with configuration and settings specifc to the network:
- If troubleshooting a corporate network, please contact your IT/System Administrator.
- If troubleshooting a home network, please contact the manufacturer of the Wi-Fi access point/wireless router.
- If troubleshooting a public network (hotspot), please contact the Wi-Fi network provider.
