Record a Video with the RIM BlackBerry Torch 9810

The Shortcut key at the bottom right of the device is set to launch the Camera application by default.

Record a video

1. Press the Camera key.
   NOTE: As an alternate method, open the All tray, and then select .
2. From the Camera screen, press the Menu key, and then select Video Camera.  
3. With the desired image in frame, press the trackpad or tap to begin recording.
   NOTE: Press the Menu key, and then select Options > Video Light to turn on the Video Light while recording.   
4. Press the trackpad or tap to finish recording. Select one of the following options:
     
• : Return to take another video
• : Stop playing video
• : Play captured video
• : Send video via...
• : Save video as...
• : Delete video
• : Displays amount of available space for recording
• : Displays the length of time of the captured recording

Configure video options

1. From the Video screen, press the Menu key, and then select Options.  
2. Select the desired option:
   

   Field	Description	Default
   Video Light	Enable or disable the light while recording a video.	Unchecked
   Image Stabilization	Enable or disable image stabilization while recording a video.	Unchecked
   Scene Mode	Select the recording conditions.	Auto
   Video Format	Set the video capture resolution. NOTE: Higher resolution pictures are more detailed, but require more memory for storage.	HD (760 x 1280)
   Set Convenience Keys	Configure the convenience key.	Camera
   Store Videos	Set the default video storage location.	On Device
   Folder	Access the default video folder.	Default folder
