1. From the Start screen, scroll to, then tap the Settings icon.
   
2. Tap lock screen.
   
3. Tap the Password switch to turn password On.
   
4. Enter the desired password, then tap the Confirm password field.
   
5. Re-enter the password, then tap done.
   
6. When the lock screen password is on, you will be prompted to enter the password before accessing the device.
   
7. To change the password, tap change password.
   
8. Tap the Current password field, then enter the password.
   
9. Tap the New password field, then enter the desired password.
   
10. Tap the Confirm password field, then re-enter the new password.
    
11. Tap done.
    
12. To turn off password, tap the Password switch, then enter the current password.
