1. From the Start screen, tap the Messaging icon.
   
2. Tap the More icon.
   
3. Tap settings.
   
4. The settings will be displayed. To change the message center number, tap the SMS center number field.
   
5. Enter the desired number, then tap save.
   
6. To change the message notifications, from settings, tap ringtones+sounds.
   
7. Tap Messaging.
   
8. Tap the Notification sound field.
   
9. Scroll to, then tap the desired alert.
   
10. Tap Vibrate to turn Vibrate off or on.
