Tethering

This article describes how to use the USB cable to connect your device to a computer and share your device's internet connection.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. Plug the microUSB end of the USB cable into the microUSB port on your device.

  2. Plug the USB end of the USB cable into an available USB port on your computer.

  3. On your computer, double-click the Blackberry Desktop Software icon.

  4. Click Mobile Internet.

  5. Tap Connect.

  6. Time connected and data used are displayed in the bottom left corner of the Blackberry Desktop Software. To disconnect tethering, click the time tethered.

  7. To adjust tethering settings, click Tools.

  8. Click Mobile Internet settings.

  9. Adjust the desired settings, then click OK.
