1. From the home screen, tap Messages.
   
2. Tap the Menu key.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. To view the message center number, scroll to Message center. The number will be displayed.
   
5. To adjust multimedia message settings, tap Creation mode.
   
6. To adjust notifications, tap Notifications.
   
7. To change the notification tone, tap Select Ringtone.
   
8. Tap the desired notifications sound, then tap OK.
   
9. To restore default settings, tap the Menu key.
   
10. Tap Restore default setting.
    
11. Tap OK.
