1. To turn on, press and hold the Power/Lock key until the screen lights up.
   
2. To turn off, press and hold the Power/Lock key.
   Note: If the screen immediately goes dark, you did not hold the Power/Lock key long enough. Unlock your phone, and then try again.
   
3. Tap Power off.
   
4. Tap OK.
   
5. If you are unable to turn your phone on, plug the phone into a power source, and then try again.
   
6. If you are unable to turn your phone off with the Power/Lock key, remove and re-insert the battery.
