1. From the clock screen, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
   
2. Tap Messages.
   
3. Tap the Menu icon.
   
4. Tap Compose.
   
5. Tap to enter the recipient and message body text.
   
6. Tap the Send icon to deliver the message.
   
7. To read new messages, swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen.
   
8. Tap Messages.
   
9. Tap the desired conversation.
   
10. Tap the Reply icon to reply to the message.
    
11. Tap the Show On Device icon to display the message on your device.
    
12. To access more options, tap the Menu icon.
    Note: Options for reply, reply all and creating email messages will vary based on the Galaxy smartphone you have paired with Gear S.
