1. From the home screen, tap the Message icon.
   
2. Tap the Add icon to compose a message.
   
3. Enter the desired recipient.
   
4. Enter the desired message.
   
5. To add an attachment, tap the Paperclip icon and then follow the on-screen prompts.
   
6. Tap the Send icon.
   
7. Tap the desired message to view the thread.
   
8. Touch and hold the message to view available options.
   
9. When a new text message is received, the Message icon will display in the notification bar.
