1. If the device is experiencing problems, try a Soft Reset by removing the battery.
   
2. After 30 seconds, reinsert the battery, making sure to align the gold contacts, and turn the device on.
   
3. If the device is still experiencing problems, perform a reset by tapping the Menu icon from the home screen.
   
4. Tap the Settings icon.
   
5. Tap Phone.
   
6. Scroll down, then tap Reset Settings.
   
7. Tap Master Reset.
   
8. Tap Yes.
   
9. Enter the required security code, then tap OK.
   Note: The factory default security code is 0000.
   
10. If the device is still experiencing problems, repeat steps 1-4.
    
11. Tap Master Clear.
    
12. Tap Phone.
    
13. Tap OK.
    
14. Enter the required security code, then tap OK.
