1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar.
   
2. Tap Screen rotation to lock/unlock the screen orientation.
   
3. To access additional display settings, tap the Settings icon.
   
4. Tap the My device tab, then tap Display.
   
5. To adjust the brightness, tap Brightness.
   
6. Tap the Automatic brightness checkbox to toggle automatic brightness on/off. Drag the Brightness level slider left or right to manually adjust the brightness.
   
7. Tap OK to set.
   
8. Tap Screen timeout to change the screen timeout.
   
9. Tap the desired option.
