App troubleshooting

Use application manager and usage manager to improve your app and device performance.

  1. To clear app cache, from the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers.

  3. Scroll to then tap Apps.

  4. Tap the desired app.

  5. Scroll to then tap Clear cache.

  6. To stop an app from running in the background, from the home screen, tap the AT&T folder.

  7. Tap Usage Manager.

  8. Tap the Apps tab, then tap the desired app.

  9. Tap Stop.

  10. If prompted, tap OK.

  11. To update an app, from the home screen, swipe to then tap Play Store.

  12. Tap the Play Store tab.

  13. Tap My apps.

  14. Tap the desired app listed beneath Updates.

  15. Tap UPDATE.

  17. To uninstall an app, from the 'My apps' page, scroll to then tap the desired app.

  18. Tap UNINSTALL.

  20. To reinstall the app, tap INSTALL.
