Add your Google account to sync Gmail, Chrome, YouTube, Google Maps, and more.

  1. Registering a Google account allows you to download and purchase content in the Google Play Store, access email through the Gmail application, receive personalized Google Search results, and have your account automatically logged in for all other Google based services on your device.

  2. Drag down from the top of the screen to reveal the quick settings menu and tap the Settings icon.

  3. Scroll to then tap Accounts & sync.

  4. Tap the Add icon.

  5. Tap Google.

  6. Enter your email address and password, then tap NEXT.
    Note: If you need a Google account, tap Or create a new account and follow the onscreen prompts, or visit  https://accounts.google.com/signup.

  7. Tap ACCEPT to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

  8. Scroll down to view the Google services. Tap the Check box to select or unselect the service, then tap NEXT.
