Take a picture or video
Take a screenshot, edit a picture or video, use the front and rear camera, and switch between camera and video modes.
INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
- From the home screen, tap the Camera icon.
Note: You can also access the camera via the lock screen by swiping the Camera icon or via Quick Launch by double-tapping the Home key. To disable the Quick Launch feature, from the Camera, tap Settings > tap the Quick launch toggle.
- To change shooting modes, tap Mode.
- Tap the Desired mode.
- Tap the Switch camera icon to change between front and rear cameras.
- Tap the Camera icon to take a photo.
- To take a video, tap the Video icon.
Note: The video will automatically begin recording.
- Tap the Camera icon to take a picture in video mode.
- Tap the Pause icon to pause recording.
- Tap the Record icon to resume recording.
- Tap the Stop icon to end the recording and save the video.
- Access saved pictures or videos in the Gallery. Tap the Gallery icon to view your images.
Note: To edit photos to go Gallery > Desired photo > Edit icon.
- This device has an 8 MP rear-facing camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera. The video recorder is HD 1080p and 30fps.
Note: To take a screen shot, press and hold the Home and Power buttons at the same time until you hear the camera shutter sound and a short flashing animation. To view captured screen shots tap the Gallery or Photos app.
