Make & Receive a Call

Place, receive, and reject a call, use speed dial and make a conference call.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. MAKE A PHONE CALL: From the home screen, select the Phone app then select the Dialpad icon.
    Note: To learn about calling or using your device in other countries, visit the AT&T International website.

  2. Dial the desired number, then select the Call icon.

  3. While a call is active, the Active Call icon will display in the Notification bar.

  4. ANSWER OR DECLINE A CALL: To answer a call select and drag the Call icon down towards the Answer call icon. To decline a call, select and drag the Call icon up towards the Decline call icon.

  5. REJECT CALL WITH A TEXT MESSAGE: Select MESSAGE REJECT, then select the desired text message to send or select Write your own to write a message.
    Note: To create or edit text message replies from the home screen, select the Phone app > Menu icon > Settings > Quick responses > select desired Quick response to edit.

  6. SPEED DIAL: From the Dialpad, select and hold the desired speed dial number to call.
    Note: To add a contact to speed dial, from the Phone app select the Menu icon > Settings > Speed Dial > desired speed dial number > enter the desired number.

  7. CREATE A CONFERENCE CALL: While on an active call select the Add call icon > enter desired number or contact > Call icon > Merge calls icon.  
    Note: To end one call select Manage conference call then the End call icon next to the desired contact. To end all calls select the End icon.
