1. ACCESS MESSAGE SETTINGS: From the home screen, select the Messaging app. Select the Menu icon, then select Settings.

  2. ADJUST NOTIFICATION ALERTS & SOUND: Select Notifications, then select the Notifications switch to turn notifications on or off. ADJUST RINGTONE: Select Sound, then select the desired ringtone. ENABLE/DISABLE VIBRATE: Select the Vibrate switch.

  3. RESTORE DEFAULT SETTINGS: From Messaging settings, select the Menu icon > Restore default settings.

  4. EMERGENCY ALERTS: From Messaging settings, select Emergency alerts and edit as desired.
