Pairing your keypad
Add the keypad to your security hub with the AT&T Connected Life (SM) app.
Open the Add device menu in the Connected Life app.
Select Security add-ons.
Selecciona Keypad.
Follow the prompts to add the keypad to your system.
The keypad pairs as two devices - a keypad and an occupancy sensor. If only one device shows, press and hold the pairing button until the app continues. The occupancy sensor can be used to activate alarms or start automations.
Good to know: By default, the keypad motion sensor won’t set off an alarm when your system is armed in Arm Home mode.
Instalación
Set up your keypad on a flat surface or mount it to the wall. To secure the keypad to a wall, use the included magnetic mount. First, place the magnet in your preferred location using the included screws or adhesive strips. Then, attach the keypad to the magnet. The included screw anchors can be used for drywall, plaster, or brick surfaces.
FYI: For the best motion detection, mount the keypad on a wall about 4.5 feet above the ground.

Uso
Change system mode
Enter your PIN code followed by the system mode (Arm Away, Arm Home, or Standby) you want the system to enter.
If an incorrect PIN code is entered, the keypad beeps four times and the LED flashes red five times. The code can be re-entered after the five flashes. For security purposes, the keypad deactivates for five minutes if the wrong PIN is entered five times within 10 minutes.
Quick arm
The keypad has a built in quick-arm feature that allows users to arm the system with a short button press. By default, this is set to on. Manage quick-arm options in your system settings.
To quick-arm your system without entering a PIN code, press the Away or Home button.
Emergency alarm
Emergency: Hold down the Away button for three seconds
Fire: Hold down the Home button for three seconds
Health: Hold down the Standby button for three seconds
Detección de movimiento
Motion detection is on by default. To disable it, press the 4 and 6 buttons for three seconds. To turn it back on, press the 4 and 6 keys again for three seconds.
Important: Turning off motion detection disables it for alarms and automations.
Sound effects
Keypad key press, door open, and countdown timer sounds can be disabled by holding down the 7 and 9 keys for three seconds. Re-enable them by holding down the 7 and 9 keys again for three seconds.
Motion detection for automations
Your keypad performs two functions for your security system. It can function as a keypad and also an occupancy sensor. The occupancy sensor can detect motion up to 10 feet away with 90-degree coverage. By default, the occupancy sensor isn't set up to activate alarms when your system is armed. You can add the alarm function in the Connected Life app.
The occupancy sensor is also available to start automations (Example: When motion is detected, turn on power outlet).
Auxiliary keys
In future updates, the triangle and square buttons can be programmed to perform up to four unique functions.
Batería
The keypad uses one 3000mAh 3.7V rechargeable battery. For first time use, we recommend charging your keypad for at least four hours.
If the battery is low, an alert is sent to your hub and the red LED blinks on the keypad twice every 60 seconds. When the keypad is charging, the green LED is solid. When the battery charge has been fully restored, the green LED turns off.
Restaurar
You can find the reset button on the back, bottom left of the keypad. Use a paperclip to press it in for 10 seconds to factory reset the keypad.
FYI: A factory reset doesn’t unpair the keypad from your hub, but it will force it to restart and delete any presets (such as motion sensing having been disabled).
PIN codes
You can add, edit, or remove keypad PIN codes with the Connected Life app.
Open the Connected Life app.
Tap Settings, then System Settings.
Scroll to Keypad PIN codes and select Add user.
Enter a user’s name and a four-digit PIN code.
Solución de problemas
Keypad not arming system
If your system doesn't arm, something is stopping it - like a door sensor not registering as closed. You can either open the Connected Life app to find and fix the issue, or you can override it and arm anyway by re-entering your PIN and arming the system.
