Set up a PPPoE or Enternet 300 Connection
To connect to the Internet, you need to create a DSL connection profile in your PPP client software (such as Enternet 300 or the Windows XP PPPoE software) that contains your AT&T Member ID and password. Your PPP software uses this profile to authenticate your DSL connection.
To create a new DSL connection profile for Windows 2000:
Double click the Enternet 300 icon on your desktop.
Double click Create New Profile.
Enter a name for the connection and select Next.
In the User Name field, type your Member ID exactly as you registered it. For example, if your email address ends in "@sbcglobal.net" or "@att.net", then you should enter your Member ID with the "@sbcglobal.net" or "@att.net" appended.
Enter your password in the two fields provided, then select Next.
If the Profile Wizard successfully located a server on our network, select Next.
If the Profile Wizard was not able to locate a server or presents an error message, please contact us.
Select the Finish button to save and use your new DSL connection.
