Update your contact card in AT&T Mail

Your contact card shows private and consented info from your address book, LinkedIn, and social media, if you connect them to your AT&T Mail account.

Learn about contact cards

Cards show a contact's name, job title, email address, social profile links, and photo. This helps you quickly see more details about your contacts.

To see a contact’s info, hover over your initial next to the Mail button or the dot cluster icon.

Details about your privacy

  • Contact card details come from your info. AT&T Mail syncs with LinkedIn and your phone’s contact list only if you give permission. (It used to sync with Facebook too, so some older details may still appear.)
  • Contact cards are private. It doesn’t show your phone number or recovery email address to new contacts.
  • We take privacy seriously. AT&T never shares your personal info without your consent. Your contacts only get the info you choose to share. For more info, check out our Privacy Center. To test it for yourself, send an email to someone you have never emailed before. You can confirm that none of your private info was shared.

Link to social accounts

You can link or unlink social accounts.

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Select … (More icon).
  3. Choose Settings, then Contacts.
  4. Locate social account, then choose Connect to link it or Disconnect to unlink it.

Connect to LinkedIn

Use LinkedIn to see contact details and personalize your AT&T Mail experience.

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Select … (More icon).
  3. Choose Settings, then Contacts.
  4. Select Connect next to Connect LinkedIn account.

FYI: You can also choose Disconnect whenever you want to delink.

Reauthorize your LinkedIn connection

LinkedIn requires you to reconnect your account to AT&T Mail and other connections every six months. If you don’t, your LinkedIn contact details and profile photo may no longer appear in your AT&T Mail account.

  1. Go to AT&T Mail and select Mail or Sign in.
  2. Select … (More icon).
  3. Choose Settings, then Contacts.
  4. Select Reconnect under Connect LinkedIn account.
