Update billing contact info for your accounts

Learn how to change the phone number, paperless billing email, and mailing address for each of your AT&T accounts.

Learn how to update your billing contact info

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile and choose Contact info.
  2. If you have more than one account, select the account to update from the drop-down at the top.
  3. Select the Phone, Email, or Address tab.
  4. Select Edit to update the billing phone numbers, billing email, or billing address.
  5. For billing phone, check or uncheck the box below each number, if displayed. This tells us whether to send certain automated calls or texts to the number you provide.
  6. Select Save.
  7. For verification purposes:
    • Look for a verification email from AT&T when you update your billing email if you’re a wireless, U-verse TV, or AT&T Internet customer. In the email, be sure to select Verify email to complete your update.
    • Wireless customers may also be sent a verification code or temporary PIN to verify billing contact changes.

Note:
If your DIRECTV account isn’t bundled with wireless and/or Internet, or you didn’t get an AT&T user ID (formerly called AT&T Access ID) when you ordered your service, visit directv.com to view and make changes to your bill.

  • Your billing contact information is different from your user ID contact information.
