Add DIRECTV to your AT&T user ID

When we move your DIRECTV account to, you can add it to the AT&T user ID you already have. Using a single ID won’t combine bills or bundle your services.

How to add your DIRECTV account to your AT&T user ID

Before you start, make sure you have your DIRECTV ID and password and AT&T password handy.
  1. Go to and select Sign in.
  2. For the User ID, enter your current DIRECTV email ID.
  3. For the Password, enter your DIRECTV password.
  4. Select Sign in
  5. If you’ve been using the same password for DIRECTV & AT&T, we’ll ask you which service you want to sign in to. Choose DIRECTV.
    • To continue managing your DIRECTV account with the same ID you use to manage your other AT&T accounts, enter your AT&T password.
    • To create a separate ID for your DIRECTV account, select Use a different ID, then follow the prompts.
  6. Accept the AT&T User ID Terms & Conditions

Good to know
: Using a single ID for all your AT&T accounts doesn’t combine your bills or bundle your services.

Use your AT&T user ID and password everywhere

  • Manage your DIRECTV account at or with the myAT&T app1 (download in your app store or text MYATT to 556699).
  • Watch your favorite show at or use the DIRECTV App. You’ll also use your user ID for NFL SUNDAY TICKET, HBO GO, ESPN, and other premium offerings.

Heads up
: Be sure to update your saved password everywhere you watch DIRECTV. If you ever change or reset your AT&T password, it changes everywhere you use your AT&T user ID—including all your streaming services.
