How to set up voicemail and record a greeting

Dial *98 from your home phone.
Choose a Personal Identification Number (PIN) between 6 and 10 digits long.
- Enter your PIN followed by the # sign.
- Re-enter your PIN followed by the # sign.
Follow the instructions and set up your 8-digit authentication code.
When prompted, say your name after the tone and press #.
- To save as your greeting, press 1.
- To record again, press 2.
Follow the prompts to record a personal greeting or to use a pre-recorded system greeting.

Your mailbox is now ready to use. The authentication code can be used if you forget your PIN or anytime you need to reset your PIN.

Go to the Voicemail Setup Wizard.
From the Setup Wizard page, select Next.
From the Voice Mailbox Type page, select Generic Voice Mailbox > Next.
On the Phone Line Names screen, assign your phone number a name. If you have multiple phone numbers, assign each of them a name.
From the Assign Members to Phone Numbers section, select the desired Member ID.
In the Create Mailbox PIN section, create a 6 to 10-digit PIN and select Save.
