Activate Caller ID for Phone and U-verse TV

Subscribe to both Phone and U-verse TV and you can view the name and number of incoming callers on your TV before you decide to answer.


Set up Caller ID for U-verse TV

  1. Go to Account overview > My digital phone.
  2. Select My voicemail & phone features > Phone Features.
  3. Select Caller ID on TV.
  4. Select On or Off.
  5. Select Save.

From your TV
  1. Tune your television to channel 9900.
  2. Under Settings, select Change Settings for Message Indicator and Caller ID Display.
  3. Select Display Caller ID with the arrow keys and select OK to add or remove a checkmark in the box. A checkmark indicates the feature is turned On. No check indicates it is turned Off.
  4. Select Back and Done to save your preferences.

Additional information

  • You must subscribe to both Phone and U-verse TV for caller information to display on your TV.
  • Caller ID is included with Phone at no extra charge. It’s part of your phone service and can't be deactivated.
  • If you're recording a program on your DVR when a Caller ID notification appears, the notification won't be recorded.
  • If you're watching a recorded program when a call comes in, it will display on your TV screen.
  • If you receive a call that has blocked its Caller ID, it won’t be displayed on your TV.
