Set up message waiting alerts for voicemail

AT&T voicemail plays an interrupted dial tone and, if available, turns the message waiting light on when you have messages. You can turn the message-waiting indicator on or off any time. Here’s how:

1. Go to the AT&T phone portal. Sign in with your member ID.
2. Select Voicemail settings then Notifications.
3. Choose Phone notifications.
4. Turn the notification Off or On and choose when you want the alerts.
5. Select Save.
