What to know

You can enjoy two types of Mobile to Mobile calling:

Mobile to Mobile (M2M): Make or receive calls from other AT&T wireless service without using your Anytime minutes. You get Unlimited M2M calling with qualifying AT&T Nation, FamilyTalk, and Senior plans when calling within the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands.
Mobile to Any Mobile (M2AM): Make or receive calls from any mobile number on any U.S. carrier without using your Anytime minutes. You can add Unlimited M2AM calling features to qualifying FamilyTalk and Individual Nation plans.

Important info:

Not available for AT&T Prepaid^®.
International long distance calls and International roaming calls aren’t included.
Calls to directory assistance, voicemail, and calls made to or received from mobile toll-free numbers, mobile chat lines, calling applications, numbers for call routing and call forwarding services, and machine-to-machine numbers aren’t included.
Only numbers in the industry wireless number database that we use will be treated as a call to or from a mobile number. Numbers belonging to other carriers which aren’t in the industry wireless database and numbers not reported as wireless numbers aren’t included.
Coverage isn’t available everywhere.

From a desktop or tablet:

Go to your wireless account. Sign in, if asked.
Enter the 10-digit wireless number found near the Message Center, then select Go.
Confirm if the wireless number qualifies as a Mobile to Mobile or Mobile to Any Mobile call.

Go to your wireless account to add the following add-ons to your existing qualified AT&T Nation or FamilyTalk plan:
