[AT&T Wireless](https://www.att.com/support/wireless/) # Use the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app Set up AT&T ActiveArmor features, in the free and advanced versions, to help protect yourself from spam, scams, and more. * * * CallsCallsTextsTextsDevice, ID & PasswordsDevice, ID & Passwords Use the Calls setting in the app for all things related to spam call control. You can also view your call logs, manage your personal block list, report a caller, and more. ### My Block List Set up __My Block List__ to manage a personal block list. Use the call log, access your contacts, or enter the number manually to add it to the block list.[__1__](javascript:void%280%29) If you decide you no longer want to block the number, all you have to do is delete it from the list. ### Call Routing Settings Help block spam and other unwanted callers with Call Routing Settings. You choose which calls to block and which to send directly to voicemail.[__2__](javascript:void%280%29) __Important:__ You must have an active voice mailbox to send callers to voicemail. If you don’t, calls from numbers that aren’t on your contact list will fail. Tap __Call Routing Settings__ to get started. - __Fraud calls__ are automatically set to Block for your protection. - __Spam calls:__ Custom call types include Telemarketers, Political, Account services, Nonprofits, Surveys, and Other. - __Private callers__ are callers who have hidden their Caller ID and number. ### My contacts Turn __Always allow contacts__ ON to help ensure callers in your contacts aren’t blocked or sent to voicemail.[__3__](javascript:void%280%29) __FYI:__ The ActiveArmor app uploads your contacts to the cloud to help you recognize your known callers. Each company uses its own tools to identify and filter suspected spam or messages from unknown senders. ### iPhone 1. Open the __Messages__ app. 2. Tap the __Filters__ icon. 3. Select __Manage Filtering__, then set your preferences. ### Android 1. Open the __Google Messages__ app. 2. Tap your __Google Account__ icon. 3. Select __Message Settings__, then __Protection & Safety__. 4. Turn on __Spam Text Protection__. 5.
