Remove AT&T ActiveArmor and your personal data

You can deactivate, downgrade, or uninstall the app from your phone.

Remove ActiveArmor and your personal data

If you pay for ActiveArmor advanced through an app provider, don’t forget to cancel the subscription by following the process for managing subscriptions in your Google account or Apple account. This will help avoid future charges.

After your app subscription expires, you also need to remove the ActiveArmor service in the app to remove your personal data used to perform the security functions.

To cancel the ActiveArmor service:

  1. Go to Settings in the ActiveArmor app.
  2. Select Subscription and choose Remove service.
  3. Then, follow the prompts.

Your personal data will be removed within 24 hours of cancellation. Canceling the service doesn’t remove the app from your phone. If you want to remove it, you’ll need to uninstall or delete the app.

Heads up: Before you uninstall or delete the app from your phone, check your Call Routing Settings. You won’t be able to change these settings after you delete the app.

  1. Open the app, go to the Calls tab, and select Call Routing Settings.
  2. Confirm your Spam Call Blocking settings are how you want them.

Without the app, you can't manage how AT&T handles spam or other unwanted calls, or update numbers in your personal block list.

The ActiveArmor app and the service that lets you manage your call routing settings are free for our wireless customers.

If you’ve completed these steps and no longer want to use the app, you’ll need to uninstall or delete it from your phone.
