Manage email display settings in Microsoft Outlook Express

Learn how to display emails in Microsoft® Outlook® Express.

Show all email messages

You can set up Microsoft Outlook Express to display only unread email or to display all the email in a folder. If emails disappear after you've read them, Outlook Express is set up to show only unread email.

To see all the email in a folder
  1. Open Outlook Express.
  2. In the toolbar, select View.
  3. Select Current View.
  4. Select Show All Messages.

All the email messages in the folder will appear, regardless of whether you’ve read them or not.
