Wi-Fi configuration options for the 5268AC and BGW210 gateways

Learn more about the Wi-Fi configuration options for the 5268AC and BGW210 gateways.

Wi-Fi configuration options

You can configure Wi-Fi® access on your remote gateway in a couple of different ways, depending on what you need the access for.

If you’re Wi-Fi is accessed only by your employees, you don’t need to change anything. You’ll get the best performance with the default configuration.
If your Wi-Fi is accessed by your employees and your customers, you can set up your Wi-Fi using either of these options:
  • Option 1: Set up the guest Wi-Fi network and have separate networks for your employees and your customers. We recommend this option. It’s the easiest way to keep your customers from accessing your employee network.
  • Option 2: Configure the 2.4GHz radio band for customers and the 5GHz radio band for employees.
